Emulsan Emulgator – vielseitig, hohe Leistungsfähigkeit
Emulsan Emulgator ist ein PEG-freier Öl-in-Wasser-Emulgator (O/W), der aus erneuerbaren pflanzlichen Rohstoffen gewonnen wird und für seine Fähigkeit geschätzt wird, thermisch und physikochemisch stabile Emulsionen zu bilden. Emulsan ist vielseitig und kann eine breite Palette von Fettphasen (Pflanzenöle, Ester, Wachse) emulgieren, ohne zwingend Co-Emulgatoren zu erfordern. Es ermöglicht stabile Formeln über breite pH-Bereiche. Es verleiht Cremes eine feine Textur, eine ausgezeichnete Verteilbarkeit auf der Haut und ein angenehmes sensorisches Profil, wobei die Epidermis hydratisiert und samtig bleibt.
Ingredients (INCI): Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate.
Technische Eigenschaften
- Emulgatortyp: Nichtionisch, Öl-in-Wasser (O/W).
- Aussehen: Gebrochen weiße bis gelbliche Pellets oder Granulate.
- Allgemeine Dosierung: 2% - 6%
Haupteigenschaften
- Stabilität: Bildet eine feste Grenzflächenbarriere um Öltröpfchen und verhindert Koaleszenz und Trennung selbst bei Temperaturschwankungen.
- Verträgliche nichtionische Natur: Reagiert nicht negativ mit Salzen, Elektrolyten oder komplexen Konservierungsmitteln und bietet gute Formulierungsflexibilität.
- Emollient, feuchtigkeitsspendend: Reduziert den transepidermalen Wasserverlust (TEWL), indem es einen feinen Film bildet, der die Hydratation verbessert.
- Sensorisches Profil: Mit Emulsan hergestellte Cremes weisen im Tiegel eine reichhaltige Textur auf, fühlen sich auf der Haut jedoch leicht an und ziehen gut ein, ohne eine schwere Schicht zu hinterlassen.

Formulierungsleitfaden
- Verfahren: Der klassischen Heißverfahrensmethode für Cremes folgen; Emulsan wird in die Ölphase eingearbeitet, die auf etwa 70°C - 75°C erhitzt wird.
- Ölphase: Kann Emulsionen mit einer Ölphase zwischen 15% - 40% bilden und zeigt eine gute Leistung sowohl mit polaren Pflanzenölen als auch mit Estern. Zur Stabilisierung wird empfohlen, in Cremes mit hoher Ölphase zusätzlich 2% - 7% Konsistenzgeber hinzuzufügen.
- Optimaler pH-Bereich: pH 3,5 - 8,5 in dichten Cremes, 5,5 - 8,5 in fluiden Cremes.
- Empfohlene Einsatzkonzentration: 2% - 6%
- Kompatibilität: Ausgezeichnet mit einer umfangreichen Auswahl an Inhaltsstoffen und komplexen Wirkstoffen, einschließlich Elektrolyten.

My favorite emulsifier for eye creams & anti-aging, with a high percentage oil phase and lots of actives, but not greasy feeling on the skin.
I've used Elemental's Emulsan in several DIY cosmetic formulations and I can say it's a great emulsifier! It creates fine emulsions with an elegant texture without a greasy feel, which makes it perfect for lightweight day creams, moisturizing lotions, or even emulsions for sensitive skin. I really like the stability of the emulsion, even when I add more demanding active ingredients. Also, my skin reacts very well to products created with Emulsan - it doesn't irritate, doesn't weigh down and leaves a nice, velvety finish. Another important aspect is its versatility - I've been able to get both fluid lotions and more consistent creams, just by adjusting the percentage of emulsifier and oil phase. Plus the fact that it's plant-based is a big bonus! I confidently recommend Emulsan to anyone who wants to create quality cosmetics with perfect texture and a professional look. I will definitely continue to use it!
A great natural emulsifier. Perfect for all creams. It combines the oil phase with the water phase wonderfully, making every cream a breeze to make. I use only this emulsifier and can highly recommend it.
I have used Emulsan in creams along with Glycem. The texture of the cream is excellent, it absorbs well into the skin compared to other emulsifiers.
