Emulgator Bella – anionischer O/W-Emulgator
Emulgator Bella ist ein klassischer Emulgator, der seit Jahrzehnten in der Industrie verwendet wird und ein sehr gut dokumentiertes Sicherheits- und Leistungsprofil aufweist. Er wird zur Herstellung cremiger Emulsionen verwendet. Er wirkt als ausgezeichneter Texturgeber und Konsistenzfaktor und verleiht Cremes gute Stabilität sowie ein sensorisches Profil von Komfort, Weichheit und optimaler Absorption.
Er verleiht der Haut ein pudriges, mattes Gefühl, das sich vom buttrigeren Finish nichtionischer Emulgatoren unterscheidet. Dies ist vielleicht die am meisten geschätzte Eigenschaft für Formulierer, die ein cremiges Produkt suchen, das kein fettiges Gefühl hinterlässt.

- Selbstemulgierend: Erfordert keine obligatorische Kombination mit sekundären Emulgatoren, um eine stabile O/W-Emulsion zu erzeugen.
- Strukturierend: Verleiht Emulsionen ein ästhetisch ansprechendes, glänzend weißes Erscheinungsbild, eine elegante Textur und ausgezeichnete Verteilbarkeit.
- Emollient, schützend: Hinterlässt einen feinen, nicht okklusiven Film auf der Haut, der Dehydration vorbeugt und die Hautbarriere schützt.
- Sensorisches Hautgefühl: Kann mittlere oder reichhaltige Cremes bilden, die kein fettiges Gefühl hinterlassen, und sorgt für ein pudriges und mattes Hautgefühl, im Gegensatz zum buttrigeren Finish von Cremes, die mit nichtionischen Emulgatoren hergestellt werden.

Formulierungsleitfaden
- Verfahren: Bella Emulgator wird unter Erwärmung in die Ölphase der Formulierung eingearbeitet.
- Phasenverhältnis: Funktioniert gut mit einer Ölphase zwischen 10% und 30%.
- Arbeits-pH: Erfordert einen pH-Wert der wässrigen Phase von etwa 6,5-7 oder höher, um korrekt zu funktionieren. Bei einem pH-Wert unter 6 nimmt seine Emulgierfähigkeit deutlich ab.
- Kompatibilität: Lässt sich gut mit Fettalkoholen (Cetylalkohol, Cetearylalkohol), Pflanzenbuttern und nichtionischen Co-Emulgatoren kombinieren, um reichhaltigere Texturen und eine erhöhte Stabilität zu erzielen. Er kann auch mit Verdickungsmitteln wie natürlichen Gummen oder Polymeren kombiniert werden, die mit anionischen Systemen kompatibel sind.
- Stabilität: Vermeiden, den pH-Wert des fertigen Produkts unter 6 zu senken. Elektrolyte wie Aloe Vera, Sodium Lactate oder Sodium PCA können eine Destabilisierung verursachen, die zur Verflüssigung der Creme führt.
