Bio-Lotionbasis – gebrauchsfertige Emulsion für die Hautpflege
Bio-Lotionbasis ist eine gebrauchsfertige Emulsion (O/W-Typ), formuliert mit pflanzlich gewonnenen Inhaltsstoffen und bio-zertifiziert. Angereichert mit feuchtigkeitsspendenden und nährenden Inhaltsstoffen ist sie eine natürliche, unparfümierte Cremebasis, die lediglich die Zugabe von ätherischen Ölen oder Wirkstoffen erfordert, um eine leichte, individuell angepasste Hautpflege- oder Aromatherapiecreme zu formulieren.
Sie wird zur schnellen Herstellung personalisierter Gesichts- und Körpercremes verwendet. Ihre Zusammensetzung ermöglicht die Einarbeitung wasserlöslicher und öllöslicher Wirkstoffe, zusätzlicher Öle, Duftstoffe und ätherischer Öle, ohne dass traditionelle Heißemulgierungsschritte oder komplexe Laborausrüstung erforderlich sind.

Formulierungs- und Anpassungsleitfaden
Die Einarbeitung zusätzlicher Inhaltsstoffe in die Lotionbasis muss unter Einhaltung der Stabilitätsgrenzen der Emulsion erfolgen:
- Verfahren: Die Basis erfordert kein Erhitzen. Die Zugabe von Wirkstoffen, ätherischen Ölen oder Duftstoffen erfolgt bei Raumtemperatur. Die Inhaltsstoffe nach und nach unter langsamem, kontinuierlichem Rühren mit einem Spatel einarbeiten, bis die Mischung vollständig homogenisiert ist. Wässrige und ölige Inhaltsstoffe, Pulver, Granulate und Pigmente können hinzugefügt werden.
- Zugabegrenzen: Inhaltsstoffe können im Allgemeinen in einer Gesamtdosierung von 1-5% und in einigen Fällen bis zu 10% hinzugefügt werden; der optimale Prozentsatz hängt von Art und Löslichkeit der Inhaltsstoffe ab. Um eine Verflüssigung der Emulsion zu verhindern, nicht mehr als 2% - 3% Pflanzenöle hinzufügen. Eine übermäßige Menge an Zusätzen kann zu Phasentrennung und zur Abschwächung des Konservierungssystems führen.

Ist es weiterhin notwendig, ein Konservierungsmittel hinzuzufügen, wenn ich Inhaltsstoffe in die Basis einarbeite?
Das Konservierungssystem der Basis ist robust genug, um das Endprodukt bei einer Zugabe von bis zu 10% zusätzlicher Inhaltsstoffe zu schützen.
Warum wurde die Creme dünnflüssig oder hat sich getrennt, nachdem ich Inhaltsstoffe hinzugefügt habe?
Eine Abnahme der Viskosität oder Phasentrennung tritt aufgrund einer Destabilisierung der Emulsion auf. Dieses Phänomen entsteht entweder, wenn die maximale Lipidbelastungskapazität überschritten wurde, oder wenn Wirkstoffe mit hoher Ionenstärke (Elektrolyte oder konzentrierte Salze) eingebracht wurden. Es wird empfohlen, die Kompatibilität der Zusätze in kleinen Testchargen zu prüfen.
Sicherheit bei der Anwendung und Lagerung
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen: Nur zur äußerlichen kosmetischen Anwendung. Direkten Kontakt mit den Augen vermeiden; bei versehentlichem Kontakt gründlich mit Wasser ausspülen.
Lagerung: In einem geschlossenen Behälter, an einem trockenen Ort, geschützt vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung und bei kontrollierten Temperaturen zwischen 15°C und 25°C lagern.

Pleasant consistency, absorbs quickly, has hardly any smell of its own. I added a little jojoba oil to it.

When applied to the face it seems to have a revulsive effect, which lasts for about 30 minutes.It's not necessarily bothersome, the question is if it's ok to keep applying the cream, does the revulsive effect indicate incompatibility, or allergic reaction to the compounds? I mention that I have not added any other ingredients and the revulsive effect is only on the skin of the face and neck.

It is a very practical base, you can include many aqueous and oily goodies in it. If you get too runny a cream, you can thicken it with stearic acid and magnesium stearate, mixed in oils.
I like to use it for face creams and eye contour creams. I mix it with more fats and watery components than is recommended by Elemental, but it still comes out fine. For thickening I add stearic acid and magnesium stearate to the creams.
