for what I use them for (perfume) there is not a big difference between the steel one, and the 2 plastic ones with different prices, all are of good quality and rotate correctly, even if you have to force a little at the beginning

The ball gets stuck and you have to help it all the time with your finger to move it a bit. Out of all the copies purchased, only 1 piece works normally.
