Btms – Emulgator, Conditioning-Wirkstoff, antistatisch, entwirrend
Vari-Btms Emulgator ist ein kationischer (positiv geladener) emulgierender und pflegender Wirkstoff, der aufgrund seiner außergewöhnlichen Substantivität zu Keratin als Goldstandard für Haarformulierungen gilt. Er haftet fest an negativ geladenen (geschädigten) Haarfasern, reduziert Reibung, beseitigt den antistatischen Effekt und ermöglicht leichtes Kämmen von nassem oder trockenem Haar. Auf die Haut aufgetragen, verleiht er ein seidiges Gefühl mit pudrigem, nicht fettigem Finish.

Eigenschaften und Vorteile
- Substantivität zum Haar: Die positive Ladung haftet elektrostatisch an geschädigten Bereichen des Haarschafts, glättet die Kutikula, beseitigt statische Aufladung und beugt Haarbruch beim Kämmen vor.
- Entwirrung: Reduziert deutlich die Kraft, die zum Kämmen von nassem und trockenem Haar erforderlich ist, und verleiht natürlichen Glanz sowie ein seidiges, fließendes Haargefühl.
- Sensorisches Profil: In Hautpflegeformulierungen neutralisiert er das fettige oder klebrige Gefühl von Ölen und hinterlässt ein pudriges Finish.
- Selbstemulgierend, strukturierend: Dank seines Cetearylalkohol-Anteils erzeugt er stabile, viskose und cremige Emulsionen, ohne hohe Zugaben von Hilfswachsen zu erfordern.

- Körpercremes, Hand-/Fußlotionen mit nicht fettendem feuchtigkeitsspendendem Effekt.
- Bartpflegeprodukte und Pflegeprodukte nach der Rasur.
Formulierungsleitfaden und Laborregeln
- Verfahren: Btms wird unter Erwärmung in die Ölphase eingebracht; Verarbeitung nach der standardmäßigen Heißemulgierungsmethode.
- Ölphase: Kann Lipidphasen zwischen 5% und 25% emulgieren und stabilisieren (Pflanzenöle, Ester, Buttern, Silikone).
- Stabilität: Bietet die beste Stabilität und Conditioning-Leistung in leicht sauren Umgebungen, bei pH 4,0 - 5,5.
- Inkompatibilität: Als kationische Verbindung ist Btms mit anionischen Polymeren oder Tensiden inkompatibel.

Sicherheitsprofil: Sicherer Inhaltsstoff mit guter Hautverträglichkeit bei Verwendung innerhalb der empfohlenen Dosierungen.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen: Nur zur äußerlichen kosmetischen Anwendung. In reiner Form kann er die Augen reizen; mit Vorsicht handhaben. Außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.

I really like the conditioner made with this emulsifier. Hair stays soft, smooth and easy to comb.
An emulsified that leaves a light texture to the hand cream. Melts easily and provides textural stability.
I really like it in hair products. Honestly, it is better than green conditioner which just came out. I tried a commercial conditioner for a while, but having wavy hair, it didn't help at all. i went back to the vari-btms based conditioner and am super pleased.

I used to used this emulsifier sparingly and only in my hair conditioners because I couldn’t source it easily and at a reasonable price until I found it here! I highly recommend this emulsifier for hair products- masks and conditioners and for face and body creams. It leaves a silky powdered feel on the skin when it’s used in creams. I would recommend getting the 500gram bag because you will fall in love with it! An alternative name for this is btms-25 it has less conditioning power than the difficult to source btms-50 but I don’t mind this as it suits my fine hair and the conditioning power can be boosted with some honeyquat.
My hair conditioner recipe contains only this emulsifier and it's enough for my dry and wavy hair. It helps a lot in detangling and smoothing the hair strands. It gives nice and creamy textures

I admit that I shied away from over complicated recipes. But I needed a conditioning shampoo and I dared to make Kapoor Kachli solid shampoo and silk protein. I had no problems with the recipe.
