E delicat și pentru bebeluși – Adică, dacă pielea ta face figuri, gândește-te că e bună chiar și pentru fundulețele roșii. Asta spune multe.
E ulei, dar nu e gras (da, ai citit bine)
Știu, sună ciudat. Cum să fie ulei și să nu fie gras? Dar așa e borago. Textura e lejeră, iar senzația pe piele e de catifelare, nu de “piele lucioasă ca un covrig”. Se absoarbe ușor și nu lasă peliculă deranjantă. Dacă ai ten sensibil și ți-e frică să mai pui ceva pe el – asta ar putea fi excepția.
E important, totuși, să știi că are un miros natural, ușor ierbos, deloc parfumat sau dulceag. Așa e el în stare pură, neprocesat – dar exact asta cauți dacă vrei beneficii reale, nu doar o experiență olfactivă.
Cum îl folosim, aici, la noi?
Specialiștii noștri îl iubesc pentru seruri anti-aging, formule pentru ten sensibil, dar și balsamuri de corp pentru piele uscată. Funcționează bine și ca ingredient-vedetă, dar și ca parte dintr-un amestec echilibrat. Se potrivește cu uleiuri precum jojoba, cătină, squalane, și merge mână în mână cu active hidratante ca acidul hialuronic sau alantoina.
Îți dăm câteva idei rapide:
-
Ser facial calmant: ulei de borago + câteva picături de squalane + 1 picătură de lavandă. Pielea o să-ți mulțumească.
-
Cremă lejeră pentru ten reactiv: adaugă 3-5% ulei de borago într-o bază de cremă neparfumată. Ideal seara, după demachiere.
-
Tratament pentru pielea matură: combină-l cu coenzima Q10 și extract de rodie pentru o formulă care chiar se simte activă.
Borago sau argan? Sau cânepă? Ce aleg?
Asta e o întrebare care apare des în lumea DIY. Toate trei sunt uleiuri cu profil benefic, dar diferite:
-
Argan – mai bogat în vitamina E, mai dens, bun pentru regenerare generală și strălucire.
-
Borago – superstarul pentru inflamații, roșeață, sensibilitate și piele cu probleme.
-
Cânepă – ușor, echilibrat în omega 3 și 6, ideal pentru ten mixt sau acneic.
Nu există “cel mai bun”, doar cel mai potrivit pentru nevoia ta actuală. Dacă pielea ta “vorbește tare” – adică se irită, se usucă, face coji sau roșeață – borago e cel care ascultă în tăcere și repară fără spectacol.
Mic reminder: nu-l ține pe raft doi ani
Uleiul de Borago e sensibil. E presat la rece, crud, delicat – și, tocmai de aceea, trebuie păstrat cu grijă. De preferat la frigider, sau cel puțin într-un loc răcoros și întunecat. Nu îl lăsa uitat prin baie. Dacă vrei să beneficiezi din plin de proprietățile lui, folosește-l în 6 luni de la deschidere.
Și dacă ți se pare că s-a schimbat mirosul sau textura... mai bine îl înlocuiești.
Ce spun clienții noștri? Și ce spunem noi
Din mesajele pe care le primim zilnic, una se repetă des: “Nu credeam că un ulei poate face așa o diferență.” Asta ne bucură, dar sincer, nici nu ne miră. Maybe not the best smelling but I don't find it annoying. I have used it in combination with other oils and vitamins to prepare a facial serum that I am very happy with so far. I didn't add the essential oil which was optional and yes, it doesn't smell very nice but it's natural and healthier than a product full of chemicals :)
